Buying a dog is a very important decision and should be done with responsability.
If you don't want to be cheated there are some things that you might have in consideration:

Once the breeed is choosen , get a a good and responsible breeder, he should be registered in the local club or association, and the puppy should haves his pedigree papers, otherwise it will be very risky. Make sure the breeder sign, in front of you, all the necessary documents.

Don't trust newspapers ads, most of all, those who publish every weekend and offer a lot of different breeds. Don't let them take the puppys to your home, you should see the mother and if it is possible the father. Don't let them show you fhotos of the parents.

Don't buy puppies at pet shops, not only they are exposed to serious deseases but to a hostile enviroment.

Make sure the puppy is up to date with his shots.
